Travis Landon Barker is an American musician, songwriter, and record producer, best known as the drummer for the rock band Blink-182.
The Rolling stone referred him as "punk's first superstar drummer" and Top 100 Greatest Drummers of All Time.
Barker so far has established himself as a versatile drummer, who is a music producer as well as guest drummer for various music projects for numerous music genres extending from hip hop, alternative rock, punk to country music.
Additionally, he is a reality star for MTV's reality series Meet the Barker.
Travis Barker is famous as Blink 182's drummer who also has played for other sub-blink 182 projects such as +44 and Box Car Racer.
The Drummer is also known for his hip hop projects, alternative collaborations and as a record producer. Travis recently released a single in 2019 with Machine Gun Kelly, and an alternative singer Yungblud, titled I think I am Okay!
The song drew a huge attention on the Blink drummer. Alongside that, Travis, Mark, and Matt recently did a tour with Lil Wyane which got controvercial after Wayne walked away from a live Blink event.

Barker was born to Randy and Gloria Barker in Fontana, California, on November 14, 1975, youngest of three children and the only boy. His father worked as a mechanic, and his mother was a babysitter.
Barker began taking drum lessons at age five with a drummer named Michael Mai, who exposed young Barker to many different playing styles.
As a child, he aspired to become a professional surfer and skateboarder.

Barker has described himself as a stoner during his tenure at Fontana High School.
After Fontana High School, Barker worked as a trash man in Laguna Beach and played with the punk rock bands Snot and Feeble, later he played for a Fontana-based group where he met Chad Larson.
The groups with Feeble and worked in a studio with veteran producer Jim Goodwin to record The Fury of The Aquabats.
In October 1997, Travis release of The Fury of the Aquabats! Following that, he toured nationwide with San Diego-based Blink-182, who had recently completed their second album, Dude Ranch.
Scott Raynor, who was the drummer of Blink-182, announced to his fellow members that he would depart following the SnoCore Tour in February 1998.
Then Barker was requested to fill in for the Blink-182 20 songs. He then completed all the songs in 45 minutes and performed with Blink-182 flawlessly.
The incident inspires the entire member of Blink-182, which leads him to remain in the band after that. Album Enema of the State released in 1999, where the Barker covers all songs, and that album listed Blink-182 as the biggest pop-punk band of the era.
Three singles were released from the record—"What’s My Age Again?", " All the Small Things" and " Adam’s Song"—that crossed over into Top 40 radio format and experienced significant commercial success.
All the Small Things" became a number-one hit on the Modern Rock Tracks chart, but also became a crossover hit and peaked at number 6 on the Billboard Hot 100chart.
The band began its first arena tour in the fall of 1999, but Barker missed much of the 2000 Mark, Tom, and Travis Show tour after he broke his finger.
Blink-182's next effort, Take off Your Pants and Jacket (2001), was greeted with immediate success, debuting at number one on the Billboard 200 and going triple platinum within three weeks (the record sold over 14 million copies worldwide).
Barker's first marriage, to Melissa Kennedy, lasted nine months until he filed for divorce in August 2002.
Barker later married actress and Miss USA 1995 titleholder Shanna Moakler on October 30, 2004.
Barker and Moakler have two children together, Landon Asher Barker (born October 9, 2003) and Alabama Luella Barker (born December 24, 2005).

On September 19, 2008, Learjet 60 jet carrying musician Travis Barker, and disc-jockey Adam "DJ AM" Goldstein, along with four other crew members of a musical band TRV$DJAM crashed during take-off in Columbia Metropolitan Airport, South Carolina.
The aircraft overran the Columbia airport's runway and hit the airport's boundary fence, and got to the 302 Highway and went onto flames.
Most of Travis Barker's body got burnt in the crash and DJ AM Goldstein later committed suicide after the incident.
Thought the accident was tragic, it made his former band members from Blink 182 Tom Delong, and Mark Hoppus to get united once again and release EP Dogs Eating Dogs, an and the famous band also released a studio album Neighborhood Blink 182 before going on a hiatus and re-forming the band with Alkaline Trio's Matt Sikba.
As per Barker, most of his tattoos were completely burnt out when he has a plane crash. After the crash his clothes were all socked in gasoline and all of his leg tattoos were gone! As most of his skin was burnt. So, doctors grafted his skin from his back and thigh to cover the burnt skin.
His skin was shredded and cloned with a new one so most of his tattoos were re done. Travis shared this painful experience on Joe Rogan's Podcast that 70% of his body was burnt and did about 30 surgery.
