After being heavily criticized, Cassell became a party in a class-action lawsuit in July 2016 when he advertised the gambling website CSGOLotto.com without unveiling a conflict of interest as a vice-president of the company, again breaking TFC regulations. 
 

After others unveiled his position at the company, Cassell promised on Twitter that he would be more honest and direct in the future.
