    Who Is Thomas Sangster?

    Ferb in Phineas and Ferb was one of the most adored cartoons of the mid 2000's and Thomas Brodie-Sangster was our own Ferb. Thomas is an English actor, best known for playing Sam in 2003's hit romantic comedy movie Love Actually. 

    He is equally remembered as adorable Simon in Nanny McPhee and as Jojen Reed in all time popular HBO series Game of Thrones.

    Additionally, Thomas also played Romulus Augustulus in The Last Legion (2007) and was seen as Newt in the Maze Runner film series.

    Thomas Sangster was born in Southwark, London, on 16 May 1990 to Mark Sangster and Tasha Bertram and grew up with his sister Ava Sangster. Sangster's family currently live in Banchory, Scotland.

    That same year, Thomas voiced Ferb Fletcher was featured in the Disney Channel animated series Phineas and Ferb alongside Love, actually co-star Olivia Olson. He also worked on the filming of the mini series Pinocchio, filmed in Italy, as of December 2007. 

    In March 2008, it was announced that Sangster would be starring in Steven Spielberg's CGI movie The Adventures of Tintin as the title character of Hergé's comic books. Sangster left the project after scheduling problems when the filming was postponed in October 2008 and Jamie Bell was offered the position.

    He started working with director Jane Campion on her film Bright Star at the end of March 2008, a love tale with John Keats and his girlfriend Fanny Brawne depicting Ben Whishaw and Abbie Cornish.

    Aaron Johnson, Kristin Scott Thomas and Anne-Marie Duff in Nowhere Boy, a movie directed by award-winning artist Sam Taylor-Wood, on the adolescent years of John Lennon and the two females who shaped his early life: his mother Julia (Duff) and his aunt Mimi (Scott Thomas). This would be his second time with Johnson, the first time he was a Feather Boy in 2004.

    In the movie Some Dogs Bite about a kid who wishes to maintain his family together, Sangster emerged. Casey (Sangster) takes care of his baby sister and goes in search of their dad with the assistance of his elderly brother.

    Sangster has performed Newt in The Maze Runner (2014) and Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials (2015) and Maze Runner: The Death Cure (2018) in the 20th Century Fox movies. Sangster depicts Rafe Sadler, Thomas Cromwell's ward, in BBC2's 6-part television adaptation of Wolf Hall (on BBC2 since January 21, 2015). 

    A 15-minute sequel to Love was actually released as part of the cast with Sangster on May 24, 2017. It was shown on the BBC as part of the Red Nose Day of Comic Relief and was actually called Red Nose Day and brought back from the first film a big amount of scenes. 

    Sangster portrays Whitey Winn's role in the Godless (2017) Netflix Western drama miniseries.
