    Mike Rosenthal was born on June 10, 1977, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Rosenthal's parents, and siblings, information is also unavailable, but he reportedly is from a Jewish family.

    Rosenthal graduated from Penn High School, where he was called USA Today All-America as a senior in Mishawaka, Indiana. 

    Mike Rosenthal also garnered several other honors like three certifications in Football and two certifications in Basketball during his high-school days.

    After graduation, Rosenthal was drafted out of Notre Dame in the fifth tour of the 1999 NFL Draft by the New York Giants and played over nine seasons in the NFL.

    He participated in 9 games with seven starts as a rookie with Giants in 1999 season. In 2000, he participated in 8 games and began 2 for the Giants, and in 2001 he participated in 7 games. He played all 16 games and the Wildcard Playoff game from the start at RT for the Giants in 2002.

    Later, he grew as an unrestricted free agent and signed a contract with the Minnesota Vikings for around $1.8 million in March 2003. 

    From his first season with the Vikings, he began all 16 games from the start at RT for the 2nd following season later on. His performances made way for the Vikings' offense to rank top in the NFL for the first time in team history. 

    But, In 2004, he suffered a right foot injury in the second match of the season. On September 22, 2004, He was allocated on an injured reserve. 

    Later, in 2005, he made his return, playing all 16 games, with 12 starts at right tackle. With his decrease performance by some games over injuries, he lost his starting to Marcus Johnson for a while, but, in late November returned to start the final two games of the season.

    After his career as a football player, he also started operating as coach at Stephen F. Austin High School in Austin, Texas, in 2010. Then in December 2011, he became the Head coach and, in 2012, got converted into head athletic director.
