    Helene Mercier was born on the 5th of February, 1960, in Montreal(Quebec), Canada. 

    Helene Mercier is the descendant of Francois Mercier and Lucile Mercier. Helene rose with three older siblings. Her concern in music became visible when she was a teenager as Helene was a natural at composing music.

    Just at the age of 6, Helene started training in music when she joined the ‘Vincent-d'Indy Music School’ in Montreal. 

    She was very young when acquired awards at the Quebec and Canadian music contests. When she was 15, Helene entered Dieter Weber’s session at the ‘University of Music and Performing Arts’ in Vienna, Austria. 

    After completing her study in Vienna, she flew to New York to attend the ‘Juilliard School of Music’ with Sasha Gorodnitsky. 

     Helene then won a scholarship following her test for the ‘Juilliard School of Music’. She remained there to study at the Pierre Sancan of the ‘National Conservatory of Music and Dance of Paris’. 

    Helene also studied with Germaine Mounier at the Ecole Normale de Musique.

    Helene continued to train herself in her talent and stretches to run as a soloist, a pianist, and a musician all over the world. 

    She has co-operated with musicians and writers such as Maria Curcio, Stanislav Neuhaus, Gidon Kremer, and Henryk Szeryng with her time.

    In 1990, she co-operated with Canadian–French pianist Louis Lortie on the performances of legendary musicians Ravel, Schubert, and Mozart. Their performance was registered under the trademark ‘Chandos’.

      Helene co-operated with violinist Vladimir Spivakov to operate on a CD devoted to Ernest Chausson, under the label ‘Capriccio’ in 2008. 

    In 2012, she co-operated with virtuoso pianist and songwriter Cyprien Katsaris on the performances of Schumann and Brahms.  

    In 2014, she operated with the ‘BBC Philharmonic.’ In 2015, they concentrated on Rachmaninoff’s ‘Symphonic Dances’.

    She has also co-operated with the Chinese band ‘Shanghai with the Shanghai Symphony’ in China.

    Throughout her Japan tour, she performed her debut with the ‘New Japan Philharmonic’, beneath the regulation of Seiji Ozawa. 

    She has presented ‘Beethoven's Triple Concerto’ with Natalia Gutman and Salvatore Accardo, in alliance with the ‘Orchestre de Paris,’ beneath the command of Semyon Bychkov.

    Helene has also worked with Vladimir Spivakov at the ‘Festival de Colmar’ and the ‘Rencontres Musicales d'Evian.’ She has operated with cellist Mstislav Rostropovich in Copenhagen and Paris.
