Matarazzo, once in The Jonathan Ross Show, had revealed that he lacked collarbones and teeth because of his CCD.
The Stranger Things star Gaten Matarazzo, who plays Dustin Henderson in the series, has this rare condition called cleidocranial dysostosis, a genetic disorder that affects the bones and teeth development. A common sign, of which is the absence of undeveloped collarbone and underdeveloped frontal teeth.
Due to his condition, he had several baby teeth disrupting his actual teeth from growing up and developing, which isn't the same anymore!
The actor underwent a series of surgeries starting from his admission to the hospital on 1st February 2020 and has undergone a series of operations to get rid of those little and displaced teeth.
Now, the actor has recovered entirely and has recently announced that he'd be participating in "The All In Challenge," where you can get to bid on spending all day with Gaten in New York, the money collected would go to a charity that will help children suffering from hunger in America access the healthy food.
You can participate in the challenge with a minimum of $10 to $100 at your convenience.
So, enough about the charity event, do you know how he will look after all the surgery?
Well, he doesn't look significantly different, but you can say goodbye to the noise of RRRRRRRSSSSS, that he made from his teeth gap.
