    Ariana Grande is an American actress and singer. She has been making people all over the world fall in love with her as well as her music through her singing prowess. From her early days, she used to participate in various plays and also used to sing in public events.

    Ariana Grande-Butera was born on the 26th of June, 1993 in Florida, United States. Her father, Edward Grande was an owner of a graphic design firm while her mother, Joan Grande was the CEO of 'Horse McCann Communications'.

    Her parents were from New York but decided to relocate to Florida because Joan was pregnant with Ariana. Ariana completed her primary education at 'Pine Crest School' and 'North Broward Preparatory School'. 

    From her early age, Ariana used to be fond of acting and also portrayed roles in various 'Broadway' musicals and plays like 'Beauty And The Beast', and 'The Wizard of Oz'. 

    She was viewed on the national television at a very young age singing a song titled, "The Star Spangled Banner.' 

    In order to seek her dreams, she moved to Los Angeles, California, at a very young age of 13, with an aim to record an R&B album.  Nonetheless, the managers at the record album thought that she was too young and decided not to take her seriously.

    Ariana Grande got a big break in 2009, when she was cast as Cat Valentine in the sitcom 'Victorious'. She was even seen in a musical which went by the title 'Cuba Libre'. 

    In 2010, Ariana decided to take a break from her acting and focused more on improving and developing her singing skills. Her song 'Give It Up', which was from the sound track of 'Victorious' was release a year later. 

    Monte Lipman, who was a top executive of the level 'Republic Records', got her attention as he was moved by her singing prowess.

    In late 2011, Ariana signed a contract with the record label and released her first single titled 'Put your hearts up'.  

    In the animated series 'Winx Club', Ariana was chosen to dub for the character Princess Diaspro. She even dubbed for 'The White Gorilla', which was a lead character from an animated film 'Snowflake'.

    Ariana was even chosen to play the character of Sam Puckett in one of Americas popular sitcom, 'Sam & Cat'. Despite its popularity, the series didn't get its second season. 

    In 2013, Ariana released her debut album 'Yours Truly'. Within a month of the release, the album secured the top spot in the US 'Billboard 200' countdown. Her song 'The Way', from her debut album, received a lot of praise and love from the people and it had taken the 10th spot in "Billboard Hot 100' and it even remained in the spot for a couple of months. 

    In the same year, Ariana's EP 'Christmas Kisses', was released and around the same time, her television movie 'Swindle' aired on 'Nickelodeon'. 

    In mid-2014, her second album, entitled 'My Everything' was released. This album gained immense commercial as well as critical acclaim. Within one week of the release, more than 1,69,000 copies of the album were sold. This album secured the top spot in the 'Billboard 200'.

    In the 'Billboard Hot 100', two of her songs, 'Problem' and 'Break Free', had taken the no.3 and no.4 spots respectively. 


    These songs were a great hit with music lovers. 

    In the year 2015, it was a chance for Ariana's fans to see her acting skills as she was playing in a comedy-horror series 'Scream Queens'. In the same year, she released her third album, which was given the title 'Dangerous Woman'. 

    The year 2016 was also a great-year for Ariana, as she was seen in a cameo role in the Ben Stiller starred comedy 'Zoolander 2'. She collaborated with the legendary singer Stevie Wonder for the song 'Faith', which was from the 2016 movie 'Sing'.
