Alex Jones was born on the 11th of February, 1974, in Dallas, Texas, United States. Jones is of German, Irish, and English descent. 

As to his high school days, he was the lineman on his high school's football team. In 1993, he graduated from Anderson High School.

During his teenage days, he often spent his time studying traditional journalism and conspiracy theories. Following high school, Jones joined Austin Community College but dropped out after a couple of months because of his personal reasons. 

Regarding Jones's profession, he began his career in Austin with a television show. However, he changed the setup to the radio for hosting a program 'The Final Edition' in 1996. 

In the show, relating 1995 Oklahoma City bombardment, Jones stated his view that the United States government was behind the Oklahoma terrorist attack. Describing it, his debut film, 'America Destroyed By Design,' was released in 1998.

Later, In 1999 Jones shared the "Best Austin Talk Show Host" with Shannon Burke, chosen by The Austin Chronicle readers. After working there for a year, Jones started broadcasting from his hometown.

In 2000, Jones was one of the seven Electoral candidates for the state's representative in Texas. The following year, his program was aired by almost 100 stations.

After the 9/11 attack on the World Trade Center, Jones began to discuss the conspiracy of the Bush administration being behind the attack, which made a number of the stations to stop featuring Jones and also made them drop his program.

In June 2013, Jones directed worldwide media for the yearly Bilderberg conference in England. He delivered a long speech to about 2000 protesters in the spot of the Grove Hotel.

Since then, Jones has been presenting his views and opinions across the whole US about different situations in America.

Moreover, he interviewed Donald Trump in his show, The Alex Jones Show, and later had been involved in his presidential campaign back in 2015. 

They had a good relationship since then until April 2018, when he criticized Trump during the live stream after Trump launched a military strike in Syria. He also stated, Trump didn't call him for almost six months after that incident.

Recently, His website, InfoWars, has been reported as a fake news website and has been cited in spreading conspiracy speculations. 

Due to this reason, his website, InfoWars was banned from Facebook for violations of its policies, which were supported by icons like Milo Yiannopoulos, Nick Thompson, and Dan Patterson but, as of now, Jones publishes articles on his another site: NewsWars, to make statements against his ban.
